Starting off the round of releases is Singer/Songwriter Ch4se with his Dancehall/R&B single, “Closer“! The track finds him getting the attention and affection of his love interest as he wishes to get closet to her, and express his desire for her in every way.

CH4SE has always sought to create music that inspires and speaks to the soul. Being a diverse artiste he conveys his expressions through a fusion of dancehall and reggae with R&B as his vocal motif.
Born Geddys Ferguson he is a singer/songwriter emerging from Kingston Jamaica.
CH4SE had always had a passion for singing but it wasn’t until he met dancehall artiste Aidonia that he got the inspiration and confidence to pursue music as a career. CH4SE’s recording debut was singing the hook of Aidonia’s “this is for the girls” single. From there he started developing his voice and honing his skill as a performer and songwriter.
In 2009, under the stage name “Stratdon” he auditioned for the popular Jamaican talent show, Digicel Rising stars, where he finished in the top ten. He notes it as an experience which gave him exposure and encouragement to take his talents even further.
Throughout his career he has been featured on prominent reggae festivals such as the Jamaica jazz and blues festival as well as Reggae Sumfest where he performed with singer/songwriter Cherine Anderson as a supporting vocalist. He also performed with Cherine Anderson at the Urban Vibes Concert in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He has expanded his craft to include recording, writing and producing jingles and voicer-over, where he has been the voice for a plethora of brands across Caribbean. Even more recently he has been featured in TV commercials such as Mothers and Bert’s Auto.
His latest single for 2019, “Closer” sets the scene for him pursuing a love interest. The story develops throughout the song as he meets and attempts to woo her and express his sincerity for her to spend time with him and for him to get to know her. The mood of the song encompasses soulful melodies that feel like r&b and pop with the groove and mixes of reggae and dancehall.
The best is yet to come from this singer as he continues to make strides as an artist, entrepreneur and as an individual.
